The School is a centre of research excellence and world leading scholarship. Our vibrant research culture is fed by a complement of over 70 permanent academic staff , some 14 support staff, some 200 taught postgraduates, over 80 research students, and an increasing number of visiting scholars and researchers from within the UK and abroad. Our academic staff are fully research active and many are acknowledged leaders in their fields.
