dc.description.abstractDigitized-Radio over Fibre (DRoF) techniques provide higher dynamic range and are more robust against optical link impairments. In this paper, a fully-photonic DRoF system is proposed and its performance is investigated in an integrated system with an analogue Radio over Fibre (ARoF) system. In this simulation based evaluation, DRoF and ARoF systems performance in the presence of other channels interference, and mode-locked laser diode’s jitter are investigated through an integrated transportation system over 30 km of single mode fibre length.en_US
