dc.description.abstractThe sorting of plastic articles is currently achieved using near infrared spectroscopy but this cannot identify all material types. The objective of this work is to develop luminescent codes that can be printed onto plastic articles that identify both the material and also end-use in high speed sorting equipment.en_US
