BCC sits between the knowledge base and industry, supporting partners in industry to transfer academic research into industrial application. BCC specialises in novel composites processing and joining technologies, applied to industrial environments. We develop innovative methods for composites across Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) 1-6. The Brunel Composites Centre (BCC) creates shared research and technology capabilities, specialising in novel composites processing and joining technologies applied to industrial environments. The Centre has developed a financially sustainable research facility, drawing on existing strengths at Brunel University London to complement and underpin applied research and development activities at TWI Ltd. where the centre is based.
