In this paper, we introduce the healthcare system where Semantic Communication (SC) technology is applied to improve the quality of service for healthcare and medical applications. We first show the concepts and possible architecture of SC. Then, we show different types of SC in the healthcare system. Next, some examples of SC-enhanced healthcare applications are discussed. Finally, we give research challenges and future research directions.en_US
