Abstract: | In Greece there are on average 461 000 ambulance calls every year. Only in the general Athens area, an average of 730 ambulance calls are logged each day. 27% of those calls result in transportation to an A&E ward (category A responses). An ambulance takes on average 17 minutes to reach its destination in the city of Athens. |
